ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Monika Grabowska
and I am a maternity, newborn and family photographer based in Kilsheelan, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.

My studio is located on the border of Tipperary and Waterford and only 35 mins away from Kilkenny. I have been lucky to have clients traveling to me from all over Ireland. My favorite thing in the world is creating beautiful portraits for my clients. 

I am passionate about maternity, newborn and family photography as well as boudoir and wedding photography. Clients always praise how patient I am and how confident they feel around me in my photography studio. My second favorite thing is being a mum and third working in the garden where me and my husband grow organic produce for local shops.

As the leading Newborn photographer in Ireland I know how to pose your baby safely and achieve the best images possible.

Safety and hygiene is a number one priority here in my studio.

I attended numerous newborn photography workshops in Ireland where I learned about baby safety and posing for newborn photographers and since then I photographed over 600 newborn babies from all over Ireland.

Monika's boutique photography studio is located in Kilsheelan, just outside Clonmel Co. Tipperary. It is calm, peaceful and warm so you can relax or even fall asleep while I photograph your baby. The whole session is worked around your baby’s needs for feeding and cuddles, for this reason sessions can take up to 2h 30min.

Studio is sanitized and cleaned before each session. My studio is heated so your baby will never be cold. All blankets and props used are washed carefully with detergent that is safe for your baby.

When is the best time to book a Newborn Session?

To ensure that we get lots of sleepy curled up poses, newborn sessions are done under 14 days from birth.

I only book a handful of newborn sessions each month and that is why it is important to contact me after your 20 week scan.

As a boutique studio I offer custom photography for all my clients and to avoid rush in regards to session preparation for all of us I suggest booking prior due date as mentioned above.

What if you didn't book with me before the due date?

As a mother who didn't have photographs of her son taken when he was little I know how precious those first days are and how cute they look so I will do my best to book you in.

But I would love to avoid any disappointments.

Remember that those first few days will fly and your newborn baby will change so fast so it is important that you photograph she or he when they are so little, you will treasure those images forever.

All sessions take place in my private photography studio in County Tipperary, Ireland.

Many women travel from Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford and beyond for their boudoir experience. The studio offers a comfortable, relaxed environment where you can feel completely at ease away from the distractions of everyday life.

Once your session is booked, you'll receive a detailed preparation guide covering everything you need to know, including outfit suggestions, skincare tips, and how to get the most from your experience.

The most important thing is to arrive rested, hydrated, and ready to enjoy the experience. You don't need to lose weight, be a certain size, or know how to pose. Simply come as you are.

In fact, almost every woman who walks into my studio tells me, "I have no idea how to pose."

Guiding you through every pose is part of my job. I'll demonstrate exactly what to do, from your hands and feet to your facial expressions, so you'll never be left wondering how to stand or what to do next.

Most clients tell me they were nervous beforehand but felt comfortable within minutes of starting their session.

A boudoir session makes a thoughtful gift for a partner, bride-to-be, wife, fiancée, or even a close friend who deserves to celebrate herself.

No image is ever shared without your explicit written permission. Many clients choose to keep their photographs completely private, while others are happy to allow selected images to be featured in my portfolio.

It is recommended to book your session date for 3 months prior to your wedding, make sure to get in touch as soon as possible.

Every year, women travel from all across Ireland to visit my studio in County Tipperary. Some drive for several hours, while others choose to stay overnight nearby and turn the experience into a special day for themselves.

Many clients tell me before their session that they're nervous and unsure whether the journey will be worth it. Afterwards, they often tell me the same thing:

For many women, a boudoir session becomes much more than a photoshoot. It's an opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities, reconnect with themselves, and see themselves in a completely new light.

Yes, you're welcome to bring a trusted friend, sister, or partner for support if it helps you feel more comfortable.

However, many clients choose to attend alone and quickly discover that their nerves disappear once the session begins. The studio is a warm, welcoming, and judgement-free space where you'll be guided every step of the way.

Your viewing and ordering appointment will take place 2-4 weeks after your session.

This is when you'll see your beautiful images for the first time and choose the photographs and products you'd like to purchase.

There is no need to decide on a collection before your session. You'll make your final decisions after seeing your images.

Most galleries contain approximately 30–60 fully edited photographs.

Although hair and makeup are not included at the studio, I work closely with an amazing hair and makeup artist located just 15 minutes away, who many of my clients love.

Booking professional styling before your session can be a lovely way to make the day feel even more special. You'll arrive feeling relaxed, confident, and ready to enjoy your boudoir experience.

I'm always happy to share her details and help you arrange an appointment if you'd like professional hair and makeup for your session.

This version feels more luxury-focused and positions it as part of the overall experience rather than something that's missing.

Bridal Boudoir is a boudoir session created especially for brides-to-be. Many women choose to create a luxury album as a wedding gift for their partner, while others do it as a way to celebrate themselves during this exciting chapter of life.

You can include bridal lingerie, a veil, your partner's shirt, wedding shoes, jewellery, or any details that feel personal to you. The result is a beautiful collection of photographs that captures your confidence, femininity, and excitement before your wedding day.
