My 3 reasons why you should book newborn photography session ahead of time

So why is it so important to book your newborn session before baby arrives?

Here are top 3 reasons why you should get in touch with your local Clonmel co. Tippeary based photographer, me.

1.  I want to capture those precious moments for You.


You won’t believe how newborn babies grow and change in the first weeks of their life and making it essential to capture those tiny feet will preserve those precious memories for a lifetime.

To make sure that I am able to capture those curly sleepy poseses that we all love so much your baby should be photographed within first 14 days.
The best way to secure that is to book your newborn session in advance.

I get emails like this one often:

My baby is 3 weeks old.

Can I book in for a newborn photography session?

My husband is already back to work. We can only make it on Sunday…

I am sure you know where I am going with this and I hate to stress my clients more as they already feel the pressure and as much as I would like to book everyone in, it is not always that simple.

Newborn babies are best photographed within the first 14 days and by living it longer your session might not go smoothly, your baby probably won’t sleep as deep as we would like and it already has grown a bit so I might have a hard time posing your baby in those curly poses.

I book a certain amount of newborn sessions a month so I can facilitate all my clients and there are only 3 Saturdays in a month when my studio is open.

So there is a chance that I won’t be able to book you in for the type of images you wish to get.

3. Piece of Mind:

Knowing that your newborn session is booked gives us time to prepare for it.

Together we will plan your session, my extensive hassle free guide will recommend what to bring, what to wear for family portraits and explain the style for your newborn session.

All that preparation ahead of time will give you peace of mind and you will be able to focus on preparing for your baby’s arrival.
