personal portraits for us. But since the arrival of our Daughter Bobbi
three and a half years ago we have been going every years since. We have
done the bump photoshoot, the new born photoshoot and the first
birthday shoot all of which were made into wonderful albums. Every
October/November we have done the Christmas mini photoshoot with her and
this is a tradition we will continue to do so please god. We always get
a Christmas card of Bobbi and then we like to get a mini album of us as

up and changed. Why have we this tradition? Well that’s simple down to
Monika her attention to detail is second to none. The moment you arrive
at her door she is there to great you with that warm special of hers she
makes you feel at home and relaxed that’s before you’ve entered her
porch. I mention the attention to detail it’s the small things like your
child’s name on a greeting board before you enter the studio. Her
studio is warm welcoming and inviting. She doesn’t rush the shoot she
gives advice on how to pose and she will keep clicking that camera till
she herself is happy with what she has captured and let me tell you that
doesn’t take long. The only long part is trying to narrow down the
beautiful pictures Monika has taking. This year has been a big hit for
Monika regards Covid and lockdown restrictions etc but Monika has still
managed to power on despite the tough year she has had with many a

I had been really wanting to do a boudoir shoot for sometime but I couldn’t find the style of photography that I wanted. I did my research and followed the amazing Monika on Instagram. I set up an appointment with her with much much MUCH excitement. Of course I was a little nervous the night before, but I knew after following Monika’s tips for preparation I would be just fine. When I showed up, Monika was just as excited as I was. She really knew what words of encouragement to use and get me to pose in ways that she knew would capture me best. Her positive talk throughout made me feel like a model working for Vogue! I left that day feeling absolutely wonderful about myself. I also could not get over just how amazing Monika was. Such a positive and lovely person. When I went to look at my pictures I just couldn’t believe it. They were beautiful! That beautiful girl was ME! We had both our sons, 2 week old Aidan and 20 month old Daniel photographed. Monika was amazing, her experience with newborns is obvious from the way she holds them to the environment she creates. Our 20 month old had woken up mid nap prior to the session and was extremely cranky and uncooperative, Monika was so patient with him but he wouldn’t sit for any pictures, I was convinced she didn’t get any of him and was so disappointed leaving. When I arrived back to view the album I was amazed, in a few seconds she had managed to capture beautiful images of our little boy. I would highly recommend her to anyone, thank you Monika!

We brought baby Hannah to visit Monika when she was 9 days old. The
studio was comfortable and warm and there was background “womb” noise
playing at all times to make our precious bundle feel relaxed and
comfortable.
Our photography session was relaxed with no time pressure and plenty of
time for feeding and changing. We took some family photographs first and
then the rest of the session was spent with the various photographs of
Hannah on her own.
The end results are some beautiful photographs that we will treasure
forever. We bought a book of the photographs and have taken great pride
in showing them off to family members who have been amused and amazed by
them.

It was first time we had professional photo shoot taken and we didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! By the time we arrived Monika had everything set up. Studio was very clean, warm and cosy. Our little girl Emma was one month old at the time so she didn’t want to sleep as much as newborn babies but Monika managed to calm her down and took beautiful photos. The studio is located in Kilsheelan just outside Clonmel.
My photography studio has a free car part as well as outside area for siblings to play.
You should aim to book in your second trimester of pregnancy, this time will allow you to guide me through desire outcome, style of your images as well as planning your first days after coming back home with your newborn baby.
Best time to photograph newborn babies is between 6-14 days. I ask all my parents to contact me while still in hospital, this way we will stay in touch and pick the earliest date possible.
Yes, of course you can. We might not be successful in creating all those sleepy poses but having your child photographed it is my main priority. Awaken images are always a top choice.
I love hearing the sigh of relief when I tell my parents I have (nearly) everything you see in the images above. As a full service studio you do not have to worry about that.
I allow parents to provide sentimental items or even family heirlooms to personalize the session that much more. Just let me know!
Your baby is very delicate and I take my time to care for it and pose it safely. Your baby will need to eat, be changed and comforted into a deep sleep.
Baby acne and flaking skin are part of the newborn glory. It is normal, please don’t feel bad about it. I can retouch a bit.
