I always say to my parents to cherish every day with their little ones as they grow up so fast. Life gets busier between school runs, after school activities, work and home chores and very often we forget to sit down and enjoy our children. I do that too, don’t get me wrong we all do it!

And here we are, my boy (16) going to his first ball ….

My heart sunk, he is too young, my little boy going out but what can I do, he is going to be 17 soon and I have to think of him as a small adult.

So what we did is found his dad’s shoe which fitted him alright, not going to go shoe shopping as he will never wear them again, is hard enough to ask him to wear jeans!

Neighbour told us that we can rent a tuxedo in local shop  http://www.connollyman.com/ which worked out great. We have rented it all in a very good price and I can’t highly recommend them.

With all that day prior to his ball I asked him would he pose for few pictures, it has been ages since he posed for me as you know teenagers, they don’t do that. He said Yes!

As it is way easier with boys than girls, he was ready in 5 mins and we have created pretty good pictures as I might say.

Most important is that he liked them and I hope that you will like them too.

Can’t stress enough how important is to take pictures of you children as much as you can yes do it with your phone but then from time to time call in to my studio where I can create something a bit better than those snaps from your phone.

This type of session could be applied to graduation portraits, corporate headshots or for your model portfolio.
